I just got another horse, her name is Lacy. At her old home, she was riden 14 years ago, never again after. She’s greenbroke, and i wanted her for my mom to ride. But she needs some more experience. I need a helpfull website that could give me tips and lessons on training her again. Just the basic stuff too, nothing too fancy, just walking and turning, troting and loping is all i need for now, once i get those acomplished i’ll find something for her but until that point what do I do?

my horse has been neglected and iguess you could say mentally abused… he was left alone in a pature with his mom without any human interaction execpt being chased by four whhelers for the first year and a half of his life. than he was taken to some other idiot who tried to saddle and ride him without any ground work while it was tranqued to get his teeth done… bad experience. so this horse is nervous around everything and hates to have a rider on its back. we desensitized him to a certain extent… i mean we can rub a plastic bag all over him, but each time we pull it out its like hes never seen it and we have to get him used to it all over again. he can load into any type of trailer well, he is ok with being tied and having his feet cleaned out and trimmed (we don’t shoe him) but he won’t let us bath or clip him. I can put a saddle on him and even get on him in the stall and sit there and he’ll be fine, but when we lead him out to the round pen and get on, he freaks. help please!!
o yeah… i work him in the round pen on and off the lunge line, he does both well, and have led him over ground poles and put a bit in his mouth. he has great ground manners, just freaks when we try to ride him. any ideas about this and the clipping/ bathing issues???
I have the horse because I felt sorry for it and bought it to bring it to a better home… I was just hoping that maybe it was trainable, so please no rude answers like I shouldn’t have this horse.
in the round pen when I get on him he stands stall untill the person holding him asks him to move foward. he’ll move for a few steps, then his ears will go back, his eyes will bug out and he bolts and bucks around the pen all at once. one time he reared. every single time I have had to do an emergancy dismount
i have ponied him (ridden another horse while hes being led beside), i have worked with him just under one year… twice a day in the summer, and every weekend for a coupld hourse since last summer. I have broke several other horses befor, the only difference is that all of those i had as foal and was able to use the imprinting technique and start them eary… I started this one (cody) at age three
black bunny… how can i reach you by email???
just kidding about the email ??? i figured it out

Im doing a report 4 school and so far i have: putting on saddle and reins, and how to start/stop the horse. My mom says something about adjusting the bit to attach the plow but she hasnt had a horse since she was about 15 and doesnt really remember too much about it. I’ve searched the internet but nothing seems to have anything on attaching plows…..
